wunderschönes, neues album des französischen künstlers francesco tristano zwischen neoklassik und jazz, eingespielt mit klassischen und elektronischen instrumenten. die 15 tokyo stories sind der japanischen metropole gewidmet, wo sie auch größtenteils komponiert und aufgenommen wurden. an der seite von tristano wirkten die japanischen musiker u-zhaan, keiichiro shibuya und hiroshi watanabe, der argentinische elektroniker guti sowie der legendäre französische klarinettist und saxofonist michel portal mit.

die produktionen von bruno pronsato wirken oft sehr raffiniert, für ein beratenes publikum fast avantgardistisch und haben einen großen teil der techno-minimalisten der letzten zwei jahrzehnte beeinflusst.

tokyo hell ist ein techno-label, das 2018 vom in tokio ansässigen dj und produzenten tsuyoshi ogawa gegründet wurde. das konzept des labels ist seine mission, die japanischen spirituellen werte nach den tragischen amerikanischen bombenangriffen während des zweiten weltkriegs in tokio wiederherzustellen. der krieg ist vorbei, aber tokio ist immer noch die hölle. diese 2. ep mit drei dunklen techno-tracks ist ein muss, um die tokyo hell zu überleben.

faitiche is happy to be releasing the album improvisations and edits, tokyo 26.09.2001 on vinyl for the first time. for the original 2002 cd on soup-disk and sub rosa (audiosphere), jan jelinek and the japanese trio computer soup (satoru hori – trumpet, osamu okubo - toys & electronics, kei ikeda - toys & electronics) presented eight tracks all recorded one afternoon in the trio’s living room in tokyo. they are excerpts from a joint group improvisation that subsequently underwent rudimentary editing, on which jelinek and computer soup worked separately.

tokyo horoki (tokyo wanderings) is a collection of tracks from pleasure cruisers last two years living in ota-ku, tokyo. the first part features tracks recorded with shinichiro yokota featuring vocals from ayako higa, chara and wakana hrt. part two features collaborations with okayama upstart keita sano.

a great four tracker of old school 90’s sounding deep house from french producer frederic boeuf aka concept e25. his passion for electronic music was ignited in the early 90’s when he discovered labels such as f communications and fnac. since then he has continually been developing his sound and exploring new and diverse ways of making music. frederic boeuf aka concept e25 has released most of his music on the classic label skylax. this his first release on swedish brandy productions. don’t sleep on this one. play it and get rewarded!
